Muffin tins, beverage containers, straws, cookie wrappings and even machines used to process the stuff you eat. These are all examples of what falls under the umbrella of Food Contact Materials and Articles, or FCMs, as those in “the know” call them. Chemicals and FCMs have a very close relationship, and the regulations that cover these areas are constantly evolving. Now we want to help you to better understand what you can do about FCMs and chemicals, and ultimately how your company can start relying on packaging and other FCMs that do not contain any hazardous chemicals.
What you can expect to learn:
- What FCMs are and how they’re regulated in the EU
- Problematic issues concerning FCMs and chemicals
- What you should know about the future of FCM regulations in the EU
